CLINICS

SERVICES PROVIDED

In addition to general medical services, the practice provides:

Pregnancy care (excluding intra-partum care)
Family planning (including IUS)
Child health checks and immunisations
Travel Clinic (Yellow Fever vaccination available)
Minor surgery
Diabetic care
Asthma/lung disease care
Heart disease and high blood pressure care
Phlebotomy clinic (blood taking)
Anti-coagulation monitoring clinic (warfarin)
Influenza and pneumonia immunisation
Smoking cessation
Other services are the responsibility of NHS Medway and are provided elsewhere.

Non-NHS Examinations

The doctors are happy to carry out medicals, eg for insurance and driving licence, by appointment. Please note there is a charge for these; reception will advise.

Health Checks And Over 75 Screening

If you are aged 16-74 and have not been seen at the practice for three years, you may wish to make an appointment with our nursing team. If you are aged over 75 years, we recommend that you book a health check if you have not attended in the past 12 months.

Flu Vaccination

An annual flu vaccination is recommended for all people over the age of 65 and those who are considered high risk. If you are in one of these categories, you will be contacted by us during September each year. For further information, please ask.
