PRACTICE HISTORY

The practice (but not the staff!) dates back to before the start of the NHS. For many years it was simply known as the Darnley Road Surgery and was located above the chemist across the road from its current site. By 1988, it had outgrown its old premises and, consequently, plans were laid culminating in a move to a modern, spacious, purpose-built surgery. In 1995 the surgery was extended to allow us greater flexibility and so enable us to introduce new services for our patients. The practice has a history of innovation. It was the first in the area to be fully computerised and introduced a wide range of services.

PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY

Our aim is to provide a wide range of services for our patients and to make access to these as easy as possible. We want your visit to the surgery to be an efficient and friendly one.
